Unscrambled

I think I will lie

Awake

A little while

And unscramble

These thoughts.

The egg cracked, finally.

The contents are eschewed, regretfully

Across the cavities

Of my mind.

Images, thoughts, conversations,

Smiles

Your laugh

His look

My feeling of

Being out of existence

Floating on pieces that

Fall

The moment I

Touch.

It all falls

Before I can reach

and taste

and feel the textures

between my fingers.

You fell into nonexistence,

While I

Stay floating,

Holding onto

Nothing.
